Baby Showers
Live harp music adds a warm, welcoming atmosphere to a baby shower. The harp’s gentle, almost whimsical sound fits the tenderness of welcoming a new baby, while familiar songs woven into the music give guests something to instantly connect with.
For a baby shower, I often play a mix of my best pop covers and baby-related songs, such as: My Girl, Boy, You Are My Sunshine, Here Comes the Sun, theme from Beauty and the Beast, Baby Mine (Dumbo), Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Someday My Prince Will Come, Part Of Your World (Little Mermaid), Somewhere Over the Rainbow, La Vie en Rose, Best day of My Life (American Authors), Hush Little Baby, Armenian Lullaby, Irish Lullaby, Iroquois Lullaby, Angel (Jack Johnson), and Lullaby (Billy Joel). I typically choose songs that will please a mixed generation audience, and I also watch the room and try to make sure I'm playing something for every guest present.
