Personalized Wedding Music

Do you know exactly what you want for your wedding music?  Don't know where to begin?  For either situation, I'll work with you to set the mood for your special day.  If there is a song you want that I don't already play, I enjoy the artistic challenge of adapting all kinds of music to the harp, and I am committed to finding just the right music for you.  
 

Ceremonies

Whether you're planning a large wedding or an intimate elopement, the harp is as beautiful to look at as it is to listen to — and creates an unforgettable atmosphere that will delight your guests.  Ceremony music usually includes a half-hour of music beforehand as guests are arriving, as well as the entrance songs, and a song at the end of the ceremony as you are leaving as a newly married couple. Some couples also elect to have music during the ceremony itself, as part of a unity candle, sand ceremony, or knot-tying ceremony. 
 

Cocktail Hours & Dinner Receptions

At a cocktail hour or dinner reception, the sound of the harp fills the air but doesn't overpower conversation, and creates an elegant yet lively vibe sure to please your guests. I almost always play a mix of my most upbeat pop covers (think Bridgerton-style, but on the harp), and guests always enjoy hearing familiar songs played in the different context of the harp.  I offer two options; regular harp (sitting at the instrument) or strolling harp, where I'll use a smaller harp strapped on, and move from table to table, or room to room in larger venues, bringing the music directly to your guests. It's unexpected, interactive, and a lot of fun. For either situation, if you want to turn it up a notch, I can bring my ensemble The Boston HarpBeat.

Elopements

The harp is a natural fit for elopements — one musician, minimal setup, and beautiful music that fills the air without overwhelming an intimate space. It's more affordable than an ensemble, and easily transported to non-traditional locations, from beaches to gardens to courthouses. And there's something about live music that transforms a moment — it adds an element that recorded music simply can't replicate. 
 

Bridal Showers

Live music at a bridal shower isn't as common as it is at a wedding, but having a harpist at your bridal shower is one of the easiest and most affordable ways to elevate your shower (it costs less than a balloon arch!) It's unexpected, creates a warm ambience, and is easily incorporated into any kind of venue – a home, restaurant, or private event space. My bridal shower clients usually love hearing my pop covers, but I can also do a classical or jazzy set if you prefer. Ensemble & Package Options

Any of the above packages are available with the following ensembles: 

1. Solo harp: over 500 songs to choose from in various styles, from classics to covers to music of various world traditions. I also accept new song requests. 
    
2. The Boston HarpBeat: harp music with an edge: the perfect cross between a string quartet and a rock band. Available as a duo, trio, or quartet.
    
3. String duo or trio with cello, violin, and harp. Bridgerton-style covers and classical music.

How to Book 
To get a quote, see my pricing page or contact me for an individual quote. When you’re ready to book, I'll send you a form to fill out and will write up a performance contract containing the event information (date, time, place) and any other important details for your event. I'll also ask for a 30% deposit to lock in the date. Then, we can set up a time to go over music options and create the music playlist for your wedding day.
